The window installation for D.A.T.E., designed by CARA \ DAVIDE in collaboration with 70Materia, explores the intersection of diverse industries and the layered beauty of cross-contamination through territorial materials.

A hybrid of set design and furniture objects, the installation is defined by a new material within CARA \ DAVIDE’s Super Giunto collection for 70Materia. A central feature of the display is a pair of side tables finished in a bespoke colourway developed specifically for D.A.T.E. This iteration utilises the forest green of Verde Alpi—a hue synonymous with the sneaker brand’s identity—as the primary pigment for this unedited material.

An intersection of diverse industries and the layered beauty of cross-contamination through territorial materials

Articulating the material’s capacity for pure volumes and rigorous forms, the side tables appear as compact, architectural monoliths. Their presence is dictated by a CNC-engraved grid—a graphic code that determines the scale and proportion of every element.

Offsetting these dense volumes is an architectural display of pure white layered panels. Marked by the same systematic grid, these cantilevered and totemic elements interlock through precise cut-out details, demonstrating the Super Giunto material’s versatility as a vertical and horizontal surface.

From a personal perspective, transcending object and space, this work reflects on the synergy between culture, technology and iteration—driven by the search for a shared experience.
